How it all started….

For more than 20 years, revered philanthropist Ruth Altshuler organized a Thanksgiving Food Drive out of her Preston Hollow home which directly assisted local agencies and the families they serve. In 2017, with Ruth's support and guidance, Liza Collins and Rachel Stephens brought back this special event and have since collected more than 35,000 pounds of canned goods and other non-perishables. Ruth Altshuler passed away in December of 2017 at the age of 93, but her legacy continues.
